What this tool does
The simplest code on this site, and the one with the fewest ways to go wrong. It holds nothing but a number, so it prints tiny, reads from a distance, and works on every phone made in the last fifteen years.
At a glance
| Encodes | A tel link: one phone number in international format |
|---|---|
| What happens on scan | The dialler opens with the number ready. The call is never placed automatically |
| Cost | Free, no limits on how many you make |
| Sign-up | None. No account, no email address |
| You download | PNG (high resolution) and SVG (vector) |
| Where it runs | Entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded |
| Code type | Static — the content lives inside the image |
| Editable after printing | No. Change the content and you get a new code |
| Scan tracking | No. There is no server in the path to count a scan |
How it works
Enter your details
Enter the phone number, in full international form.
Style it, and keep it scannable
Pick colours, module and eye shapes, a gradient, a frame, or drop your logo in the middle. The preview updates as you type and the timing patterns stay square, which is what keeps it readable.
Download and print
Take a high-resolution PNG or a vector SVG. Free, no sign-up, no watermark, and the file is yours.
Good to know
- Because it holds so little, this is the code that survives being printed smallest. It is the right choice for a narrow sticker where a link would not fit.
- Write it as +962…, not 079…. A scanned number is often dialled by someone who is not in your country, and a local format simply fails for them.
- Phones ask before dialling. No QR code can place a call on its own, and any tool that claims to is describing something the operating system will not allow.
- This is a static QR code: your content is encoded into the image itself, so nothing is stored on our servers and the code never expires — but its destination is fixed once you print it.
- Everything runs in your browser. What you type is never uploaded, which is also why there are no scan statistics on these codes: there is no server in the path to count anything.
Need an editable, trackable QR?
A dynamic Qrindo code keeps the same printed image but lets you re-point it any time and tracks every scan, geo, device, and live.
Frequently asked questions
Will the phone call the number automatically?
No. It opens the dialler with the number entered and waits for the person to press call. Every mobile operating system requires that confirmation, which is why a scanned code cannot run up someone’s bill.
Can I include an extension?
You can append it after a comma (+96265000000,101), which most phones read as a pause then the digits. Support is not universal, so print the extension next to the code as well if it matters.
Is a phone code better than printing the number?
Print both. The code removes the typing, which matters on a moving vehicle or a high sign; the printed digits are what somebody uses when their camera cannot focus or their hands are full.
Should I include the country code?
Yes, always, with a leading plus sign. A local number works only for people already in that country and on that network. The plus form works from anywhere, which is the whole point of printing it.
Can I add an extension to the number?
You can, but support varies. Most phones accept a comma as a pause before the extension digits; a few ignore everything after it. If the extension matters, print it as text next to the code as well.
Is a call QR code useful on a vehicle?
It works, but a phone number in a QR code on a parked car is also a number anyone can harvest. Our vehicle contact card relays the message without ever showing your number, which is the safer shape for that use.
