What this tool does
Every platform has its own in-app code, and every one of them only works inside that app. A plain profile URL in a QR code opens for everybody — in the app if they have it, in a browser if they do not — which is what you want on something printed and left in public.
At a glance
| Encodes | One profile URL — Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube or any other |
|---|---|
| One code, one profile | For several profiles at once, link to a page that lists them all |
| Cost | Free, no limits on how many you make |
| Sign-up | None. No account, no email address |
| You download | PNG (high resolution) and SVG (vector) |
| Where it runs | Entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded |
| Code type | Static — the content lives inside the image |
| Editable after printing | No. Change the content and you get a new code |
| Scan tracking | No. There is no server in the path to count a scan |
How it works
Enter your details
Paste the full URL of your profile page.
Style it, and keep it scannable
Pick colours, module and eye shapes, a gradient, a frame, or drop your logo in the middle. The preview updates as you type and the timing patterns stay square, which is what keeps it readable.
Download and print
Take a high-resolution PNG or a vector SVG. Free, no sign-up, no watermark, and the file is yours.
Good to know
- Use the profile URL from a desktop browser, not a share link from the app. Share links carry tracking parameters that expire and make the code much denser.
- One code, one profile. If you want a single code that lists all of them, that is a link-in-bio page, which needs a hosted page behind it.
- Check the handle spelling in the preview before printing. A code pointing at a profile that does not exist looks identical to one that works.
- This is a static QR code: your content is encoded into the image itself, so nothing is stored on our servers and the code never expires — but its destination is fixed once you print it.
- Everything runs in your browser. What you type is never uploaded, which is also why there are no scan statistics on these codes: there is no server in the path to count anything.
Need an editable, trackable QR?
A dynamic Qrindo code keeps the same printed image but lets you re-point it any time and tracks every scan, geo, device, and live.
Frequently asked questions
Why not just use Instagram’s own nametag code?
Because it only scans from inside Instagram. A customer pointing their camera at your window is not in the app yet, and their camera will simply not recognise it. A plain URL code works from any camera.
Can one code cover all my social profiles?
Only by pointing it at a page that lists them. A QR code holds one destination; the "all my links" experience is a hosted bio page, which is a link the code can point at.
Will I know how many followers came from the code?
Not from a static code, because nothing sits between the scan and the platform. Adding campaign tags to the URL gets you part of the way in the platform’s own analytics; counting the scans themselves needs a dynamic code.
Can one code link to all my social profiles?
Not directly — a code holds one destination. Point it at a page that lists every profile, and you get one printed code that covers all of them and survives you adding a new network.
Does it open the app or the browser?
If the app is installed, most phones hand the link to it. If not, the profile opens in the browser, usually behind a prompt to install. Either way the person reaches the profile.
What happens if I change my username?
The printed code breaks. Profile URLs contain the handle on every major network, so a rename invalidates every code already in circulation. A dynamic code is worth it if the handle is not settled.
