App Download QR Codes That Pick the Right Store

Print one code. Every phone lands in the store it can install from.

One code, every platform

The device is read at redirect time, not printed into the image. iPhone and iPad go to the App Store, Android to Google Play, Huawei and HarmonyOS phones to AppGallery, and everything else — a laptop, a desktop, an unfamiliar browser — sees a page carrying your stores and your own fallback link. A new App code sends phones straight through by default; turn that off and every visitor gets the page instead.

Installs you can attribute

Campaign tags travel into each store the way that store accepts them: Google Play reads one encoded install-referrer value, and Apple reads the provider and campaign tokens issued by your own App Store Connect account. Tags appended any other way are discarded by the store without an error.

Re-point it after it is printed

A new listing URL, a second platform, a temporary maintenance page — each of those is an edit, not a reprint. Every scan is recorded with the platform it came from and the store it opened.

How it works

1

Add your store links

Paste the App Store, Google Play and AppGallery URLs you have — one is enough — and a web page for everyone who has none of them.

2

Tag the campaign, if you run one

Your utm tags are packed into the single referrer value Google Play reads. Apple’s provider and campaign tokens come from App Store Connect; paste them and they are added to the App Store link.

3

Print it once

The code encodes your short link, so the printed image never has to change again. Scans show the platform, the store each one opened, and the campaign it came from.

Frequently asked questions

Can the code open my app instead of the store when it is already installed?

On your own verified domain, yes. Universal Links and App Links are claimed for a whole domain, and qrindo.com is shared by every customer, so we publish an empty association file there rather than let one app claim another customer’s scans. Connect a custom domain and your app can take the link over. On the shared domain the scan opens the store listing, where an installed app shows Open instead of Get.

Does it send people to their own country’s store?

Yes, by not interfering. We never pin a storefront onto the link, because Apple and Google both resolve it from the account signed in on the device. A pinned country shows the wrong currency to everyone outside it, and reads as "not available in your region" to anyone the app has not launched for yet.
