What this tool does
One static code can hold one store link, so this asks you which store it is for and encodes that. Sending an iPhone to Google Play is the classic failure here, and it is worth being explicit about rather than pretending a static code can route by device.

Good to know
- One code, one store. If you print a single code for both platforms, half your audience lands on a page their phone cannot install from.
- The usual workaround is two codes side by side, labelled with the platform. It is not elegant, but it is honest and it works everywhere.
- A device-aware code that sends iPhones to the App Store and Android to Google Play from ONE printed image is a dynamic link — that is a Qrindo smart link, not something a static code can do.

Frequently asked questions
Can one QR code open the right store for each phone?
Not a static one. Choosing by device happens on a server, after the scan, so the code has to point at a redirect you control rather than at a store. That is exactly what a smart link does.
Where do I find my app’s store link?
On the App Store, use the "Copy Link" button on the product page. On Google Play, copy the browser address of the app listing. Both work without the tracking parameters that get appended when you share from a phone.
Does the code work before the app is published?
The code is generated fine, but it points at a page that does not exist yet, so it shows an error until release day. Never print a run before the listing is live and you have opened the link yourself.
Can one QR code send iPhone and Android users to different stores?
Not a static one. The image encodes a fixed string and knows nothing about the phone reading it. Device routing needs a server in the path — that is a dynamic code, and Qrindo does it by reading the user agent at redirect time.
Should I use a store link or my own landing page?
A store link is one tap fewer, so it converts better when you know the audience is on one platform. A landing page lets one printed code serve both, and lets you keep the code after a store URL changes.
Do store links ever change?
The numeric App Store ID and the Play package name are stable, but the surrounding URL format has changed more than once, and a rebrand can change the slug. Test the printed code again before a large run.
